Finally, after many years I draw Margerita from Mikhail Bulgakov's "The Master and Margarita". I always wanted to draw Margerita when the Master met her for a first time.
"She carried these revoltng, disturbing yellow flowers in her hands. Hell knows what they are called, but they are always the first to pop up in Moscow for some reason. And these flowers stood out very clearly against her black spring coat. She carried yellow flowers! An unpleasant color. She turned into an alley off Tverskaya, and then she looked back. (...)
She looked at me in surprise, and I came to the sudden and completely unexpected realizaton that, all my life, had been in love with this exact woman! Isn't that something, eh? You'll call me crazy, of course?"
